Whether it comes from her interest, from a young age, in comic book, science-fiction and fantasy whether it be movies, series, graphic novel, novels, etc. Seeing her father paint signs and usings fonts and calligraphy styles. The place fashion, retail and magazines had in her exploration. All pointing to imagery that delivers quick and immediate communication of moods, characters, messages, environment and much more. Some of these works have come from the smallest seed of an idea, a subject, an object or a place and evolve into full narratives. Always adding such element of surprise to keep her coming back to the empty paper to discover what will be soon enough.

As in this image, a seed idea was all that was needed to get started. In this case a dress, a big dress, a poofy dress, like a sort of Marie-Antoinette as a cake. From then on one idea builds on another and the narrative starts to shape itself as it is discovered by the artist.
